Stay Kühl This Summerl!

For summer hikes, I am always on the hunt for new clothing items that will keep me cool and comfortable, and Kühl is a brand that always seems to knock it out of the park with their clothing! Not only do they make high quality and high performance clothing, they also make sure their clothes are stylish, well-fitting and extremely comfortable.

The two new items that I recently got and have been loving, not only on the trails but in my every day life, are the Freeflex 4 inch shorts in the color Koal (size XS), and the Juniper Tank in the color Tuscan Rose (size XS). Both of these items have been a staple in the summer wardrobe and have been keeping me cool during some of the hottest days. 

Juniper Tank: ​This tank top is not only super soft, it's very flattering as well. I love that it's made out of 95% recycled post-consumer polyester (and 5% spandex). It has 40+ UPF sun protection and it is moisture wicking which helps you stay cool when you're hiking. It is definitely one of the most comfortable tank tops that I own and now I want to get one in every color so I can wear one every day (it comes in 7 different color options). 
Freeflex shorts: I often have trouble finding shorts that work for my body because I have an athletic build where my thighs are muscular and my waist is pretty small. Usually shorts that fit me in the waist are way too tight in the legs and therefor are not comfortable, especially for hiking. The Freeflex shorts fit perfectly and they are ultra comfortable. They work well for hiking, taking walks around town, and they were wonderful for sitting in the car while I was driving the 11+ hours down to the Sierra to go backpacking. 
They are made out of polyester and spandex and they have the best stretch to them! The two side zip pockets are great and there are also two back pockets as well. It can be difficult to find women's shorts with actual usable pockets, so this is much appreciated! I love the 4-inch inseam, it's the perfect length in my opinion! These shorts come in 4 different colors, and I highly recommend getting more than one because you'll want to wear these all summer long. 

Kühl really knocks it out of the park when it comes to quality clothing that can easily go from a walk in town to the trail without having to change. I highly recommend checking out this company.
