Best Rainy Day Hikes In Oregon
Some areas of Oregon get up to 197 days of rain per year, so knowing where to go hiking even during bad weather can be difficult. I have curated this list of great rainy day hikes that consist of easy to difficult day hikes, mostly through tree canopy and they are all hikes that don't have epic views that could be missed during a cloudy or rainy day. Keep in mind that when hiking in Oregon in the rain to always wear the proper clothing and footwear as the trails can be muddy and slippery. Here are some great Hike Oregon YouTube videos with examples of rain jackets, long sleeve layering options and footwear. If you want even more hikes for those bad weather months here in Oregon, check out the guidebook '52 Hikes for 52 Weeks'.
